Within a short walk, you can reach the beach where you can walk around, lounge in the sand, go swimming, surfing and check out the Keyhole Arch rock formation. Anyway, we got to Pfeiffer Beach, and made the sharp right turn coming from the north, only to find the parking lot full. So, we had to back track to the Big Sur park, where a bus took us down. You get hit $10 for the parking, and $5 per person for the bus ride. Our advice - Take the Bus Ride.
