One class that I'm already playing is Striker - I'm really enjoying it for group play and PvP, but I find it a little frustrating to use in solo due to lack of overall push immunities and over reliance on back attacks I don't think there are any winrate stats publicly available, but soulfist is a good class in PvP in my opinion. It has really strong burst. When you're not in hype level 3 your damage isn't very good but you can focus on peeling for teammates until you have your burst back up.Get 10 points into charged shot to make it instant cast as fast as you can. Makes everything easier until you can start getting other moves up to 10 etc. one-shot most mobs up until mid 40s and by then you’ll have 3+ moves at lvl 10. 2.Each class in lost ark has two class engravings, or two different play styles/builds to chose from. Picking an assassin to play is essentially picking 1/6 not 1/3. I would recommend playing what you enjoy over what sounds like the most DPS since at the end of the day, whoever has the best gear will do the most damage.For story, start with a dps class. Maining mayhem zerker, i parked it in 1325. Class is fun and hits really hard but a little too braindead so it's getting old for me lol. Playing with a deadeye right now and it's super fun and satisfying to play, but it requires 4 times the effort over zerker for slightly similar results.My favourite class is arcanist, but it's not really a good choice for a new player. Very investment heavy and takes quite a bit of practice to pilot it. Personally, I'd suggest picking a DPS class as your first for the story, getting to Punika and then boosting a support with the Punika pass. Sorc and shadow hunter were amazing feeling when I tried in the RU servers. Like the screen just blows up playing sorc. Blade was really fun going in and out of combat. Gunlancer was fun being able to just face tank with your shield up and still do good damage and have cool abilities.
